1-Year Limited Electrical Workmanship Warranty

We stand behind our workmanship. All electrical labour performed by TrueNorth Electric is warranted for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion.  This warranty applies only to electrical work installed or performed by TrueNorth Electric under normal residential use. If a defect in workmanship directly related to our electrical installation is identified during the warranty period, we will, at our discretion, repair or correct the affected work at no additional labor cost.

This warranty does not cover:

- Electrical devices, fixtures, appliances, or materials supplied by the client or manufacturers (including, but not limited to, breakers, panels, receptacles, switches, and lighting), which are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty, if applicable. 

- Normal wear and tear damage caused by misuse, abuse, overloading, power surges, lightning, fire, flooding, or other acts of nature.  

- Work that has been altered, modified, or repaired by others after completion.  Issues resulting from pre-existing wiring conditions, hidden defects, or electrical systems not included in the original scope of work.  Code upgrades or corrections required due to changes in electrical codes after the date of installation. 

This warranty is limited to the original homeowner at the service address and is non-transferable. No other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are provided beyond what is stated herein.  This warranty constitutes the sole and exclusive remedy for electrical workmanship-related issues.

Service Call / Troubleshooting Clause:

Diagnostic or service call fees may apply to determine the cause of an issue. If the issue is confirmed to be a warranty-covered workmanship defect, the service call fee will be waived or credited. If the issue is not covered under this warranty, standard service rates will apply.  This warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy for electrical workmanship-related issues.
